Celerity, Inc. Establishes Sales and Service Operations in Taiwan

The creation of Celerity Taiwan Co., Ltd. enhances support for local semiconductor and flat panel manufacturing customers.

MILPITAS, CA, October 12, 2005 - Celerity, a leading supplier of gas and chemical delivery systems for the semiconductor and related industries, today announced the formation of Celerity Taiwan Co., Ltd. The new company is located in Hsinchu, Taiwan in close proximity to its key customers in the Hsinchu Science Park. The establishment of Celerity Taiwan optimally positions the company to serve its customers in the region with slurry and chemical delivery systems and mass flow controller (MFC) products.

The company appointed Fred Hsia, formerly vice president and general manager of Kinetics Taiwan, as its new regional sales vice president and general manager. In his new role, Hsia will be responsible for managing all aspects of Celerity's business in Taiwan and China. Prior to joining Kinetics, Hsia held senior management positions at Akrion, SubMicron Systems and Tylan General.
