TRAINER II
Major duties
This position reports to the Corporate Training Manager and will provide technical training of Mega products for customers and employees. Candidate will be based at Celerity Portland but will train at all Celerity locations as well as customer locations. Candidate will conduct technical skills training on topics of system processes, theory of operation, schematics, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This person will develop training materials and criteria for effectiveness and impact of course material related to Mega product training. Additional duties will include but not be limited to: Confer with staff and Training Manager to determine technical training objectives; Research and translate technical information into training materials; Conduct interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation; Develop training materials, including manuals, visual presentations, handouts, and tests; Assist in developing and implementing training plans to meet the organization needs for internal training of employees; Conduct gap analysis on training program implementation; Facilitate training; Select appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role playing, and computer based training; Conduct product training both on-site and at customer sites located throughout the world; Keep informed on new developments, methods, and techniques in the training field.
Essential requirements
Technical Degree is a plus. 3-5 years of direct training development and facilitation experience is required. Prior technical experience is strongly preferred. Semiconductor and or capital equipment experience a plus. Proficient with MS Office with strong proficiency in PowerPoint is required. Candidate must have the ability to travel 25%. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required. Knowledge of training requirements in compliance with ISO Standards and prior training program experience within an ISO Certified facility would be a plus. The candidate must be able to operate independently with little supervision. Relocation assistance may be available for this position.
